Booster restrictions

Boosters are not banned from NIL โ€” but their participation is heavily fenced. Get it wrong and athletes lose eligibility.

Boosters cannot pay recruits before they commit

NCAA Bylaw 13.2.1

If violated: Athlete loses eligibility; school loses scholarships

HS athletes cannot accept booster-funded NIL deals tied to a college commitment

FHSAA + 49 other state associations

If violated: Athlete loses HS eligibility; potential college fallout

Collective payments must be for actual NIL activity (not pay-for-play)

NCAA + DOJ House settlement

If violated: Deal voided; athlete may owe taxes on a clawback

Booster cannot use school marks in their NIL ad

Every state HS association

If violated: Deal voided; booster may face school sanction

How Zetavolt enforces this

Every brand on the platform is screened for booster relationships. When a booster-affiliated brand contacts a recruit, the deal is auto-flagged for AD + compliance review before the athlete sees it.
